CONVEYING / SORTING

Erin C&D recycling systems are designed to be easily expandable. Start with the recycling system you can afford, and expand it as volumes and product outlets justify!

Every customer and recycling facility has a different set of goals, challenges, budgets, and timelines. We understand. It’s all about the payback.

SORT LINE
Erin sorting stations range from 4 to 7 sort bays, depending upon materials to be captured. Wood, aggregate (concrete, bricks, blocks), and metal are clearly the money products. Additional products can be sorted, including any combination of cardboard, plastic, shingles, etc.

Erin sort lines are most commonly 5’ wide (for most convenient / efficient manual sorting), with typical underneath clearance of 14’ for easy drive-through with loader. Bunker walls are either steel or concrete, depending on customer preference. For those committed to maximizing wood recovery, we provide an optional ‘’dedicated wood line’’, either behind or underneath the sort line itself.
1 & 2 LINE RECYCLING SYSTEMS
C&D recycling systems should be sized to balance tip fee, daily inbound volume and available space.

Erin recycling systems can be expanded (from the outset or later) to include a second sort line with automated processing of middles fraction - capturing ferrous metal with a cross-belt magnet andrecovering 1"-10" aggregates with a destoner (air separation system); adding a front-end apron feed system, etc.

The drawing below shows a 2 line Erin C&D recycling systems, color-coded for easy viewing of 1 and 2 line recycling systems.

The base model Erin C&D recycling systems is comprised of a one-line Fingerscreener / sort systems.

Premier Tech Systems places such a high value on continued product improvement, that it has dedicated an entire building to house its engineering and R&D teams.
Our C&D recycling engineering team uses the same 3-dimensional CAD software.
